Can you just fix one thing for my business?

A First Fix is one automation, built and running in your business inside a week, for a flat $500. You pick one item from a fixed menu of six, we build it in the tools you already use, and it keeps working after we leave. One week, one round of changes, paid up front, and no retainer.

Most small businesses don't need an "AI strategy" to get started. They need the one leak fixed that costs them customers every week... the call that went to voicemail, the form that sat in an inbox overnight, the report somebody rebuilds by hand every Monday. A First Fix is the smallest real piece of work we sell, and it is priced as a finished thing, not as our hours.

What can you fix for $500?

One of these six. You choose, and we build that one thing.

  • Missed-call text-back on your main line. When a call goes unanswered, the caller gets a text saying who you are and how to book, so the lead doesn't move on to the next business on the list. Texting from a business number needs registration with the mobile networks first, which Twilio's own guide to A2P 10DLC (updated July 2026) says applies to anyone sending texts from an application to US numbers; we file it, and your week starts once it clears.
  • Lead routing so nothing sits overnight. Every new inquiry from your site, ads or email lands with the right person right away, with a reminder when nobody picks it up.
  • One report you currently build by hand. The weekly or monthly numbers someone copies together from two or three systems arrive on their own, in the same format every time.
  • Intake form into your CRM, with a confirmation email. A form submission becomes a clean record in your CRM, and the customer gets a confirmation telling them what happens next.
  • An automatic review request after a finished job. When a job is marked complete, the customer gets one short request to review you. It goes to every customer, never only the happy ones, because Google's Maps content rules forbid selectively asking for positive reviews.
  • Schema and a rewritten opening on your most important page. The page buyers land on first gets the behind-the-scenes code that tells search and AI engines who you are, and an opening that answers the buyer's question in the first lines. The bigger version of that work is AI visibility.

What do you get for the $500?

  • One automation, live in your accounts within a week of the kickoff call (for missed-call text-back, a week from when that registration clears).
  • One round of changes once you've used it for a few days.
  • A one-page note on what it does, what it needs and how to turn it off.
  • Nothing that renews. It runs without us afterward, or it isn't on the menu.

So, the phone gets answered, the lead gets routed, the report shows up on its own, and your team gets back the time they were spending on it... the kind of thing that makes a week feel lighter. It's paid up front, $500 flat. Open-ended work is quoted separately and sold in prepaid blocks.

What isn't a First Fix?

  • Not "whatever you need." Six options, so the price and the week can stay fixed.
  • Not a retainer or a discovery project. One thing, built and handed over.
  • Not a chatbot or a new CRM. Those are bigger decisions, and a custom build is where they belong when they're the right call.

If what you want isn't on the list, tell us anyway. We'll say honestly whether it's a bigger piece of work, something you can do yourself, or not worth doing at all.

Not sure which one to pick?

Start with the free Bottleneck Finder™ at /start. It runs your answers through 7 routing layers, tested across 42,000 combinations, and gives you a written brief naming what is costing your business the most. Sometimes the honest answer is to build nothing, and it will say so.

Which one of the six would give your team the most time back this week? If none of them fit, that's a perfectly good answer too.

What happens after you pay?

We email you within one business day to book the kickoff call. The week starts at that call, and the fix is live in your accounts by the end of it (for missed-call text-back, a week from when the texting registration clears). You'll get one round of changes and the one-page note when it's done.

Common questions

What if the thing I want fixed isn't on the list?

Tell us anyway. We'll say honestly whether it's a bigger piece of work, something you can fix yourself this week, or not worth doing at all. If it's bigger, a custom build is the next step, and we'll say so before you spend anything.

What happens after the week?

The automation keeps running in your accounts without us, and you get a one-page note on what it does, what it needs from you and how to switch it off. There's no retainer and nothing renews.

Do I have to buy anything else?

No. A First Fix is a complete job on its own. When it's done we'll name the next thing worth doing, once, and the decision is yours.

What do you need from me?

Access to the accounts the fix touches (your phone system, website form, CRM or email), a short kickoff call to agree the exact steps, and an answer to a question or two during the week.

Can you just tell me what to do instead?

Often, yes. The free Bottleneck Finder at /start gives you a written brief on what is slowing your business down, and plenty of what it names you can fix yourself.
